Metta Movement Arts wants to inspire as many people as possible to take care of their whole selves through movement, mindfulness, compassionate touch and positive attitude. Through sharing wellness tools that help us all lead fuller healthier lives, we put self-care first. After all, when we take care of ourselves there is more energy to play, share and give back.
Our services promote both inner & outer wellness. They include a variety of styles of yoga, thai yoga massage & wellness education rooted in loving-kindness or Metta. We share information and tools that build skill sets to encourage whole body wellness and engagement of the mind-body-breath/spirit link thereby increasing vitality and productivity.
Breath is LIFE! At Metta Movement Arts, we encourage our clients to use the breath as a touchstone - to keep coming back to it, feel it and feel the body breathing. Whether moving or resting in stillness, this touchstone and paying it close attention enhances accessibility to a deep inner healing state. We seek to create and contribute to a nurturing community of caring, health-minded people looking to heal, love, learn & share their true gifts with the world!
